I'm not holding true to the Sketch Book part of the post here. This was rather the the final side view for a shoe called the Ranger, which was released by DC Shoes this fall.

 So much for being on time for Sketch Book Mondays...some speed lace handle ideation, bat wing style!

 A little side project I worked on for DC's Winter '13 Snowboard boot line. Goal was to add some value to a very price challenged boot. I went for patches as a fun and different approach on this model, the 'Scout'. The collage shows the process form early ideation, over line art for the chosen samples to the actual samples and the finished product.
